Bolting must suit the flange and the service. Check the thread size and length, the material grade (carbon steel, alloy or stainless), the coating if corrosion protection is needed, and the matching nuts and washers. Stud bolts are normally supplied with two nuts. For flanged joints, confirm the number and size of bolts for the flange class, and order spare gaskets together with the bolting.
