Flange Insulation Kits – Type E, F & D

Insulation kits electrically isolate one side of a flanged joint from the other, for cathodic protection and to stop galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals. Each kit comprises an insulating gasket and, for every bolt, one full-length insulating sleeve, two insulating washers and two steel backing washers. Type E — full-face gasket with bolt holes; best alignment and protection against conductive debris. Type F — ring gasket fitting inside the bolt circle. Type D — oval or octagonal insulating ring for ring-type-joint flanges. Gasket materials: phenolic, neoprene-faced phenolic, G-10 / G-11 glass-reinforced epoxy, with or without sealing element. Sleeves & washers: GRE, phenolic, polyethylene; zinc-plated steel washers. Available for raised-face, flat-face and RTJ flanges in all standard classes; special configurations made to order.
