Description

A soft cord of 100 % expanded PTFE with an adhesive strip on one face. It is laid directly on the flange face, the ends are overlapped, and when the bolts are tightened it flattens into a thin, strong gasket. Used where cut gaskets are impractical: very large, irregular, out-of-flat or damaged flanges, manways, ducting and covers. • Chemically inert across the pH range • Resists creep and cold flow; rarely needs re-torquing • One reel covers many sizes — no cut-out waste • Supplied in a range of widths on reels • Industrial use only — not for food, drug or medical-device processing
